BIO - Sho-Shaun Maven was only eleven standard years old, and far too young to go off and fight in the Clone Wars when his father, Seminole Maven, was called to duty by the Order of the Jedi. He lived in the backwoods of Agamar with his mother, Shyan, and his grandfather, Seer Oohosis. His grandfather had served on the Jedi Council before returning home upon Sho-Shaun's birth to train him in the ways of the Force. At the age of twenty-two, Sho-Shaun married Quailyn Vos, niece of the Jedi Master Quinlan Vos. A year later, Shaun and Quail were the proud parents a baby boy, Tonka. Unfortunately, Jedi training would not be in Tonka's future. The Force sensitivity that ran so strongly in his father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great uncle, were to lie dormant for his generation. When the news arrived that the Jedi were being systematically hunted down and executed by a pair of Sith Lords, and that Seminole had been one of the early victims, Sho-Shaun and his family went underground. They all moved into his mother's cabin and assisted her in taking care of his ailing grandfather, who passed away quietly and distinguishedly after a few months, simply from old age. Seer had bestowed the title of Jedi Master on his grandson in most aspects of his training, although he still had a few trials to complete. Sho-Shaun is a unique Jedi in that he carries two lightsabres (both with yellow blades) that are 3/4 of the length of a normal lightsabre, for quickness when a duel is immanent.
As a Padawan learner, he followed the Jedi Code. As a Jedi Knight, he believed the Jedi Code. As a Jedi Master, he lives the Jedi Code.

NOTE - the meaning of the name:
Sho-Shaun = Shoshone: the name given by white explorers to the Newe, a band of Native Americans that inhabited the land around the southern Sierra Nevada.

Maven = knowledgable, an expert

The idea for two lightsabers was inspired by the double-ended lightsaber of Darth Maul. I wanted to do something different also. The idea for two lightsabers came from a picture of a Samuri Warrior with two swords hanging in Oishi, a sushi restaurant in San Francisco. Given that Jedi Knights were based on Samuri Warriors, it seemed fitting.
